What lease terms are available?
Flores Rosa Gardens offers one-year lease terms.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes. A security deposit is required. You will be informed of the amount during the application and leasing process.
Are utilities included in the rental cost?
Utilities are not included in rent. Tenants are responsible for their own utilities (electricity, water, gas, etc.). Only trash collection is included.
Can I use Section 8 vouchers to pay for rent?

Can I apply for housing if I have a felony?
Flores Rosa Gardens accepts all completed applications. As part of our policy and as permitted by the Fair Housing Act, background checks are conducted for all individuals over 18 years of age listed on the application. Felony convictions are not an automatic disqualification for housing and Flores Rosa Gardens evaluates all applications on a case-by-case basis.
How are income limits determined for Flores Rosa Gardens?
Income limits are set by HUD based on the property's location and household size (Area Median Income, or AMI). Units are restricted at 60% of AMI. Applicants must provide documentation to verify their income.
What happens if my household income increases while I am a tenant at Flores Rosa Gardens?
Yes, tenants may remain provided they continue to complete their annual recertification.
What safety measures are in place at Flores Rosa Gardens?
Safety is a priority. Flores Rosa Gardens is a gated community with well-lit parking and common areas, which are equipped with security cameras monitored 24-hours a day. Criminal background checks are completed on all applications 18 years of age and older. Units also include window shutters for interior protection from storms.
